Karakol Ski Resort

The modern ski resort "Karakol" is located in Kyrgyzstan, 7 km from the city of Karakol (Issyk-Kul region). During the Soviet era, it was used as a training site for the national Olympic team. In 2004, the resort was fully modernized. Today, "Karakol" is the perfect destination not only for athlete training but also for active recreation.

The "Karakol" ski resort is a unique destination with exceptional natural conditions. Located at an altitude of 2,300 meters above sea level, it lies on the slopes of the Tien Shan mountains, surrounded by majestic pine forests. The mild climate, influenced by the non-freezing high-altitude Issyk-Kul Lake, ensures maximum enjoyment of skiing. During the winter, daytime temperatures rarely drop below -5°C, and the abundance of sunny days allows visitors to ski and sunbathe at the same time.

The "Karakol" ski resort offers

Four chairlifts (two 2-seaters and two 3-seaters)
Three hotel buildings
Chalet-style cottages
A restaurant and a slope café.
